Treading deep water this week, as we talk about the full-blown disaster that was the 2011 Tōhoku Earthquake and Tsunami, and the heartening survival story of Ryo Kanouya as he and his family battled the largest tsunami in recent memory. On top of that, the massive tsunami also triggered a nuclear meltdown that displaced thousands even as they struggled against the waves.
